Configuration

n Turn on the host computer. Run Storage Manager on ROM (SMOR) by
pressing Ctrl+D when prompted during the system boot process.
n If necessary, change the default settings for the controller SCSI ID and
termination on the Configuration tab of the controller Information view.
n Save the new settings.
n Verify that all connected SCSI devices are visible in the SMOR Device
Tree.
n Create disk arrays if desired. Refer to the "Storage Manager on ROM"
chapter in the SmartRAID V User's Manual.

Software Installation

On a new system, the normal software installation sequence is:
n Install the Operating System
n Install the DPT device driver or OSM
n Install Storage Manager
