Before using electrode in calibration or
measurement, we should note:
1. When unpacking, check the electrode for
any mechanical damage to the membrane,
diaphragm or body.
2. Screw off watering cap first, then the lid,
rinse electrode with pure water. Wipe
electrode with a tissue. Do not rub the glass
membrane, or the response time might
increase.
3. Eliminate any air bubbles inside the
membrane and the salt bridge solution. Make
the electrode inside pressure equilibrium with
the atmosphere by opening the electrode
refilling aperture when measurement.
FAQs:
1. What's the meaning of electrode
condition icon?
After calibration, the pH meter will judge the
electrode slope and offset, then display the
judgment in the screen:
slope > 95%
Electrode condition is very good
slope : 90%-95%
Electrode condition is acceptable
slope : 85%-90%
Electrode condition is not good, need re-
calibration or replace
ST260 electrodes
