General description
The MDB W2/W3 is a self-cleaning filter unit.
The extraction fan setting can be freely selected within the
max. and min. permissible volumetric flow of the filter. The
filter can be equipped either with a control panel with a filter
controller and integral frequency converter (SCP series) or
simply with a filter controller (Cont. B and C series).
The fan draws air laden with suspended particles through the
bank of filters. If the pressure upstream of the filters reaches
a certain value, the integral self-cleaning mechanism is
triggered which initiates the cleaning cycle to clean the dust
from the filter cartridges by pulses of compressed air. This
displaces the particles that have collected on the filter
cartridges so that the particles fall into the dust container in
the base of the MultiDust Bank.
