3. Fix the photocells as shown in fig. 6.
4. Direct the lenses as in fig. 7 in order to obtain the correct alignment between the TX and RX.
5. Carry out the electrical connections following that which is indicated in the motor or control unit instructions manual. Also
see the connection examples in chapter 3.3 "Electrical connections".

3.3) Electrical connections

The power supply and communication of the F210S comes
through the TTBUS connection of the motor or control unit.
The connection is not polarized, use a cable with a minimum
section or 0.5 mm2 and no longer than 30 m.
!
The motor or control unit must be disconnected
when connecting the F210S.
"Up", "Stop" and "Down" buttons can be connected to the
RX receiver (see figure 9). The Step-by-Step function (open-
stop-close-stop) can be obtained by connecting the OPEN
and CLOSE inputs in parallel and controlled by the same
push-button.
If a sensitive edge is used, then the standard 8.2KΩ resist-
ance on the RX terminals reserved for the connection of the
sensitive edge is removed and used as a terminal for the sen-
sitive edge, or is not used if the edge has its own terminal
resistance. If the sensitive edge is not used then the 8.2KΩ
resistance is left connected to terminals 3 and 4.
If the sensitive edge has 2 outputs with 2 separate NC con-
tacts, it can be connected as shown in figure 8 placing the
8.2KΩ resistance in series between the two contacts. Make
sure that the sensitive edge complies with the failsafe cate-
gory 3 according to the EN 954-1 standard.
!
Do not use sensitive edges that have only one NC
type contact because they do not have the necessary
failsafe category required by the said standard.

8
To deactivate the short inversion when the sensitive edge
cuts in, such as when the edge touches the ground, a switch
S can be used with a series resistance of 8.2KΩ that is con-
nected in parallel with the sensitive edge (see figure 9). If con-
tact S closes in proximity to the closure of the shutter or ver-
tical door, when the sensitive edge touches the floor, the
automation blocks without inverting the movement and the
door remains closed. In this situation only the up manoeuvre
can be performed. This condition is signalled by the DL1 LED
(Sensitive edge) which briefly turns off every 2 seconds.
