OPERATION OF THE MAIN ELECTRIC PUMP:
Main Pump 3-position switch:
-In manual position the main pump never locks except the fact that it's missing voltage.
-In Off duty position: the pump cannot operate.
-In automatic position, the pump can kickoff due to two reasons:
1- The installation pressure drops below the adjusted pressure at the main pump's pressure switch.
2- Because the priming tank decreases below 40%.
None of the alarms lock the main motor. The only way to shut-down the main pump is by pressing manually the
proper manual stop button if there is no action (This main pump shut-down switch will work only if the present
working main pump's LEDs are off or if the priming deposit level is above 40% of its capacity).
KICKOFF AND CONTROL PANEL FOR DIESEL PUMPS AS CEPREVEN RT2 - ABA, UNE 23-500:2012 and UNE EN-12845
CEPREVEN RT2-ABA, UNE 23-500:2012 and UNE EN-12845 manufactured strictly under regulations, upon entering the main
diesel the system begins a sequence of 6 kickoff cycles with a maximum duration of 15 sec. with 6 sec. stops. Incorporates
polycarbonate front panel for the easy understanding of all the symbols, inside the same cupboard there are the kickoff, control and
protection of the auxiliary or Jockey pump. + Counts the jockey pump pulses (Kickoff No. Counter) (except the C.D. equipments for
which the jockey comes separately).

Battery charge indicator:

Both batteries 1 or 2 have each a 3 LED setting for the 25% - 50% - 100% loads.
25% has a red LED. (The battery charge is very low.)
50% has an amber LED. (The battery has a 50% load.)
100% has a green LED. (The battery has a maximum load.)
If all three LEDs are blinking at once it means that the load is below 25%, or that the battery is damaged, disconnected or out of
order, and doesn't load. When the battery is in this state, in the kickoff cycle this battery is ignored and the 6 attempts cycle is
charged on the other battery.
During Charging: (the green LED) shows that the battery charger is charging. This charger can only charge one battery at a time,
interspersing the batteries every 15 minutes for UNE 23-500:2012 groups, for CEPREVEN and UNE EN-12845 groups, there is a charger
for each battery.
OPERATION OF THE MAIN DIESEL PUMP:
Each main pump has a 4 position switch and 3 buttons (2 for operating and 1 for shut-down):
-In manual position the main pump starts and locks manually using 2 operating buttons and one for shut-down:
1- Pressing on operating battery 1: the engine is starting using battery no.1.
2- Pressing on operating battery 2: the engine is starting using battery no. 2.
3- Pressing on operating 1 and 2 simultaneously: the engine starts using both batteries.
4- To stop the engine, the Manual Stop button has to be pressed.
-In Off-duty position: the pump cannot operate under any circumstances.
-In automatic position, the pump can kickoff due to two reasons:
1- The installation pressure drops below the pressure set in the main pump pressure switch.
2- The priming tank is at 40% of its capacity.
