Important:
Before starting fitting work,
make sure there will still be
sufficient air flow to the radiator
grille (engine cooling). Upright
attachment only. Headlights must
not vibrate or jut above the
bonnet and must be attached
symmetrically.
• Metre rule - universal pliers
• Drill with bits
Ø 3, 5, 11, 12 mm
Choose the fitting position
on a straight surface (observe
fitting measurements, see fig.)
and mark the attachment points.
Pilot drill with the 3 mm bit and
then drill through using the 11
mm bit.
Seal the drilled metal parts
with corrosion protection agent.
Remove the glass retaining
frame and take the headlight
insert out.
Place the respective Hella bulbs

• Open-ended or ring spanner
sizes 14, 17
• Cross-slot screwdriver
on the plug-type housing with
retaining spring and attach
these to the headlight insert.
Carefully route the cables in
the housing and then screw
the glass retaining frame,
the headlight insert and the
housing back together.
Screw the headlights to the
vehicle (with two-point bracket
if necessary).
Align the headlights and
tighten all screws.

To guarantee an optimum
beam pattern, make sure that
the "TOP" marking on the
headlight insert is always facing
the top.
