How to keep your dishwasher in shape

After every wash cycle
After every wash cycle, turn off the water
supply to the appliance and leave the door
slightly ajar so that moisture and odors are
not trapped inside.
Disconnect the power plug
Before cleaning or performing any mainte-
nance or service job, always remove the plug
from the wall outlet. Do not run risks.
DO NOT use solvents and/or abrasive
cleaners
To clean the exterior and rubber parts of the
dishwasher, do not use solvents or abrasive
cleaning products. Use only a cloth and
warm soapy water. To remove spots or stains
from the interior surface, use a cloth damp-
ened with water and some white vinegar, or
a cleaning product made specifically for
dishwashers.

CORD OR AN ADAPTER PLUG WITH THIS APPLIANCE. DO NOT, UN-
DER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, CUT OR REMOVE THE THIRD GROUNDING
PRONG FROM THE POWER CORD.

Electrical Requirements

See rating label to know the required rating
voltage, and connect the dishwasher to ap-
propriate power supply. Use a 12 Amp fuse.
Circuit must be copper wire only. Use recom-
mended time delay fuse or circuit breaker,
and provide separate circuit serving only this
appliance. Outlet should be placed in an ad-
jacent kitchen cabinet.
WARNING: MAKE SURE PROPER GROUNDING EXISTS BEFORE USE.

Vacations
Before going for holidays, we recommend to
run a wash cycle with no load and then dis-
connect the plug from the wall outlet. Turn
off the water supply and leave the dish-
washer door slightly ajar. This will help the
seals last longer and prevent odors from
forming within the appliance.
Seals
One of the factors that causes odors to form
inside the dishwasher, is food that remains
trapped in seals. Regularly clean seals with a
damp sponge to prevent this.
Connection to power supply
After making sure that voltage and fre-
quency values supplied by your house sys-
tem match those on the rating plate, and
that the electrical system is sized for the
maximum voltage on the rating plate, insert
the plug into a properly grounded receptacle.
If the outlet is not appropriate for the power
plug, replace the outlet, rather than using
adapters as they could cause overheating
and burns.
