Cleaning and Maintenance
7.1
Cleaning
DANGER:
Risk of electric shock!
▷ Prior to any cleaning, pull the mains plug.
NOTE:
Possible damage to the furnace!
▷ Do not us a high-pressure cleaner or com-
pressed air for the cleaning!
▷ Use only commercially available, water-based
or non-flammable, solvent-free cleaning
agents for the cleaning.
Prior to cleaning:
▷ Allow the furnace to cool down to the room tem-
perature.
▷ Clean the various components according to
Table 2.

Daily checks
▷ Check the furnace for any exterior damage.
▷ Check the function of the safety devices (e.g.
the mains switch).
▷ Check the function of the fan (check for noise).
▷ Visually check the following components:
▪ Sealing surfaces on door and furnace shroud
▪ Visible part of the heating rods in the furnace
compartment
▪ Visible part of the thermoelement in the fur-
nace compartment
7.3
Monthly maintenance
▷ Carefully vacuum out and clean the furnace
compartment, exhaust openings and exhaust
pipe.
▷ Check the furnace compartment, exhaust open-
ings and exhaust pipe for damage.
