Remove the protection caps from the two tips before use. Select the type of meat
as follows:
• Press switch „B" con the head of the handle as many times as necessary until
the desired meat type appears on the display „C". The sequence is the following:
BEEF – PORK – CHICKEN – TURKEY – VEAL - LAMB
• Insert the probing tips in the thickest part of the meat until it is halfway in.
Avoid bones or layers of fat. These can cause incorrect measurements.
• Leave the skewer for approximately 10 seconds in the meat. A beep signals the
passage from one cooking level to another (RARE, MEDIUM, MEDIUM, WELL
DONE).
• Check the display according to the display „D".
• If necessary, light up the display with switch „G" on the back of the handle. The
light is switched off automatically.

NOTE:
If several measurements are to be made one after the other, let the tip cool down
before each measurement and clean these. The device switches automatically off
after approximately 5 minutes.Do not leave the skewer in the meat as it cooks.
The device is designed to be used only for spot checks.
Should a malfunction occur, proceed as follows to eliminate it: remove the batteries,
wait for approximately 30 seconds and then insert the batteries again.
Clean the tips with a moist cloth and put on the protection caps.
Clean the handle only with a dry cloth. Do not wash! The device is not waterproof.
