Use

This Unit is available in the following sizes:
This unit is equipped with internal thermal-acoustic insulation able to mitigate sound emissions and thermal
dispersions. The use of galvanised steel sheet guarantees protection of the accessory from adverse weather
conditions.

Supply conditions

See Figure 1
The Accessory is composed of the following pre-assembled components:
(A) Base:
(B) Extension tube: insulated, for raising Torretta height.
(C) Plate with hinge: allows access to the chimney for its maintenance and cleaning without
(D) Torretta fixing screws (pre-screwed on-board the Accessory):
- 2 screws that have already been affixed to the Plate with hinge (C)
- 2 screws on extension tube (B)
IMPORTANT: Before ordering this Accessory, notify VORTICE of the effective sloping angle of the roof, as the
Base component (A) is in fact "tailor-made."

Suitably fix the Base (A) to the support plane (structural slab) on the roof covering.
IMPORTANT: The roof support surface must ensure proper mechanical resistance to support the
weight of the Torretta and the accessory.
IMPORTANT: During installation, guarantee perfect verticality of the extension tube (Figure 1,
component (B)).

Remove the supplied screws (Figure 1, component (D)).

To secure the Torretta, install the supplied screws (as per the diagram shown), tightening them to a
suitable tightening torque T as prescribed in the table in Figure 4.
IMPORTANT: After having completed installation, it is advisable to perform rollover testing on the
Torretta (for details see the paragraph on "Maintenance and Cleaning").
IMPORTANT: After having completed installation, make sure that the base of the Torretta (A)
and any extension (B) are perfectly vertical. If not, this means that the effective sloping angle of the
roof (provided at the time the order was placed) is different from the Accessory base sloping angle
(Figure 1, component (A)).
