unit send a message to the dialer when the
battery capacity is getting low.
Insert a 9V block battery into the battery compart-
ment :
• All 3 light-emitting diodes (LEDs) (4)(5)(6) fl ash
briefl y.
If no mains adapter is connected
• all 3 LEDs fl ash briefl y in succession and
a short beep can be heard.
• If the dialer is "OFF" (inactive) the LED fl ashes
briefl y green .
• If the dialer is "ON" (active) the LED fl ashes
briefl y red .
Connect the mains adapter :
• All 3 light-emitting diodes (LEDs) fl ash
briefl y.
If no battery is inserted :
• all 3 LEDs fl ash briefl y in succession and
a short beep can be heard.
• If the dialer is "OFF" (inactive) (9) the LED is
permanently green
• If the dialer is "ON" (active) the LED is perma-
nently red
• After 1 minute the battery error alarm is activated.
Corrective action:
insert battery shortly after connecting the mains
adapter.
Battery and mains adapter must be connected
to ensure trouble-free operation.
Recommendation:
By way of precaution replace the battery once a year.
Display during operation
Power supply (mains adapter) not present , dialer
switched "OFF" (inactive) :
• Green LED fl ashes every 5 seconds.
Power supply (mains adapter) not present , dialer
switched "ON" (active) :
• Red LED fl ashes every 5 seconds.
Internal battery error (low battery), dialer switched
"OFF" (inactive) :
• a beep is emitted every minute and the yellow
LED fl ashes .
Internal battery error (low battery) dialer switched
"ON" (active) :
• Alarm silent - The dialer emits no visual or acous-
tic signal
• Voice message text 2 (T2) is sent.
• Yellow LED fl ashes and a beep can be
heard every 60 seconds.
After being programmed the dialer switches to
standby:
• i.e. one long beep can be heard
• the yellow LED fl ashes several times
• the green LED is on permanently.
