A sprayer made of top quality materials not subject to attack by treatment products, including cooper derivatives. This sprayer can be used with either hand and it is
designed to get most out of the user's efforts thanks to the high-strength and capacity of its pressure chamber which is made of a single piece and has an eccentric
design. It has stainless steel balls in the chamber and cylinder.
The pressure chamber moves the mechanical agitator. The hose has nuts and no clamps. It runs form the right-angle elbow in the chamber to the lance, with minimal
risk of folding and twisting.
The lance has a smoth, safe handle for opening and closing, an easy-to-clean filter and a shut-off handle setter for continuous spraying. Fiber tube of Ø 10 mm., with
an elbow at the end and an adjustable cone nozzle. It has a socket that fits standard and optional nozzles, tips and accessories.
Strong and light tank with ergonomic shape. It has a level indicator and a spacer to hold it away from the back and allow perspiration to evaporate. The filling mouth
has a large filter with a level indicator and a lid with a valve enabling air to enter while preventing liquid from getting out. The mouth where the chamber is inserted has
an felt greasing ring and a large contact area so that the pump can move smoothly. All this is attached with the guide nut. Between the two mouths there is a handle
so that the device can easily be hand carried. Graphic operating instructions printed on the tank.
Woven and soft straps, anticorrosive and easily adjustable.
Shock-proof and non corrosive base.
The lever and arm are made of sturdy metal, designed so the arm acts almost in a vertical position, thus requiring minimal effort from the user. The arm has a fastening
device so that the lance can be attached to it and also a ring to hold the lever upright so that the device can easily be stored and carried on the back while walking,
cycling or riding a motor-cycle.
Supplied with an interchangeable herbicide nozzle (929), doser (674), dust protection masks (675), pressure regulator (676) and retainers (133)(497).
STARTING-UP
1) Join the hose (703) to the lance (885) and the chamber (368)(893). With the wedge (318) which is served in the filter, hold the belt in the base housing (as per detail D).
2) Release cover and pour in liquid to be sprayed without removing filter.
3) Fit the device to your back, adjusting the straps.
4) Work the lever 8-10 times to pressurize. Work the handle (358) and adjust the nozzle (135) until the required spray is obtained. Bear in mind that 6-8 strokes per
minute will give a flow-rate of 0.4-0.6 l/min.
NOTE: The device leaves the factory set up for the lever to be worked with the left hand and the lance aimed with the right. To operate it the opposite way, lift the clip
(953) out of its housing on the vertical part of the rod with a suitable screwdriver, release the bolt (495), remove the bushing (338) by inserting the screwdriver into slot
A (below an indicator rib) and turning. Place the lever in the opposite hole in the base and mount the clip (953), the bolt (495) and the busing (338). Change the straps,
attaching them the same way in the housing son the opposite side of the tank.
MAINTENANCE-MOST FREQUENT MALFUNCTIONS AND THEIR SOLUTIONS
1) Clean the sprayer and the circuits of liquid, including the filters, after each working day. This can be done by working the device with clean water, adding a little
household detergent if desired.
2) To change the retainer (133)(497) use a suitable screwdriver to lift the clip (953) from its housing on the vertical part of the rod, release the bolt (495) and remove the
chamber (368)(893). Remove the stirrer, which will have fallen into the tank. Hold the stirrer as shown in figure B and fit the cross on the stirrer blade into the channels
or slots in the valve (365). Unscrew it, pick up the ball, and replace the ratainer (133)(497) with a new one. Then screw up the valve, not forgetting to place the balla
insider it. With the help of the stirrer in the indicated position, tighten the valve (365) firmly onto the chamber. Proceed to mount the chamber, clip and stirrer.
3) Nozzle (135) obstructed. Clean with water jet or non metallic instruments.
4) Handle (358) jammed. Filter (346) dirty. Release the grip (357). Pull the filter out, clean it, grease the seals and re-mount it.
5) Store the sprayer under cover, avoiding freezing temperatures and extreme heat (between 5º and 30º C ).
