● The box comes equipped with a 6-conductor cable and two wires that extend out-
side it. The cable (for connecting the roadside panel) must first be routed through a hole
that goes from one side of the post to the other (drill the hole in the post or wall). Then
connect the other two wires (F) (one red and one black) ) to the lock or electric strike plate.
Important : do not remove the protection (V) on the red wire until you are ready to connect
it to the strike plate or lock.
● Once the box is installed keep the antenna as far away as possible from all metal
surfaces, sources of interference and obstacles between the box and your home, (in par-
ticular, no leaves or branches should touch it). For best results, it should also be placed
high enough (approx. 1.6 m above ground level) and be vertical.
Once you have found the ideal location :
1• Remove the cover from the box by unscrewing the 6 cross-head screws ( H ) (fig. 5).
Attention : do not directly touch the electronic circuitry (see comment in section 2:
Important - page 10) and do not remove the protection from the red wire (V).
2•Fasten the box with two screws ( J ) at the top and bottom (fig. 6), The antenna is at
the top right.
3•Remember to route the connecting cable for the roadside panel through the hole in
the post first.
Do not install an antenna other than the original one supplied or a 68 cm
antenna sold as an accessory for this unit.
Never insert the batteries before installation is
completely finished.
