BATTERY CHARGING
WARNING: Fully recharge the battery before any use.
- Connect the electrical plug (B) of the recharging base (A) to a mains outlet.
- Insert the appliance body (E) into the recharging base (A) (Fig. 2). During the
recharging phase, the LED, situated on the handle, will flash.
- After about 4/8 hours, the recharge will be complete, the LED will be steady
on and the appliance will be ready for use.
Recharging base
The base serves to recharge the accumulators situated in the handle of the appli-
ance and has the dual advantage of being used to store the appliance when it is
not in operation, therefore it is not necessary to position it close to a socket.
HOW TO OPERATE
ATTENTION:
Remove the appliance from the recharging base when used.
If the appliance is on the recharging base (A) connected to a power outlet,
by pressing the on/off button (H), it will not work.
- After recharging, remove the appliance from its base (A).
- According to requirements, insert the grater roll (D) or the one for slivers (L)
into its seat inside the appliance body (E) and, keeping it pressed, rotate it
1/4 of turn clockwise (Fig. 2).
- Cut the food in "squares" (in case of cheese, remove the crust) and insert
them into the apposite housing (F) (Fig. 4). Then, lower the presser (G).
- Place an apposite container or directly the dish with food to be seasoned
underneath the outlet hole and press the on/off button (H) (Fig. 5).
- The appliance is also equipped with a handy, healthy plug (C), which pre-
vents dirt or dust from going into the roll.After use, insert the plug (C) on the
roll (Fig. 6) and store the appliance by using the recharging base (A) as a
handy support for the vertical position (Fig. 7).
Note: When the battery is low, after having pressed the on/off button (H), the
LED will flash for about 6 seconds. Proceed with recharging.
ATTENTION:
Never use the appliance empty.
Leaving the cheese (or the chocolate) inside the appliance for several days
is not healthy and may cause the formation of mould and bad smells.
