Indirect measurement is obtained using a calculation based on the Pythagorean theorem (a²+b²=c²), where the result will
be the height:
- Simple Pythagorean:
1- With the instrument turned on, press the
2- After a few moments the laser will be turned on;
3- A diagonal line will start pulsing
4- Aim the laser for the first measurement and press the
5- Then a horizontal line will start pulsing;
6- Aim the laser to get the second measurement and press the
7- The instrument will perform the height calculation and show the result automatically on the display.
- Pythagorean with addition:
1- With the instrument turned on, press the
function ;
2- After a few moments the laser will be turned on;
3- An upper diagonal line will start pulsing
4- Aim the laser for the first measurement and press the
5- A lower diagonal line will start pulsing
6- Aim the laser to get the second measurement and press the
display;
7- Next, a horizontal line will start pulsing
8- Aim the laser to get the third and last measurement and press the
9- The instrument will perform the calculation and show the result automatically on the display.
- Pythagorean with subtraction:
1- With the instrument turned on, press the
function ;
2- After a few moments the laser will be turned on;
3- An upper diagonal line will start pulsing
4- Aim the laser for the first measurement and press the
5- A lower diagonal line will start pulsing
6- Aim the laser to get the second measurement and press the
display;
7- Next, a horizontal line will start pulsing
8- Aim the laser to get the third and last measurement and press the
9- The instrument will perform the calculation and show the result automatically on the display.
