1. Installing the drivers for serial connection across BBAD
diagnosis module and PC, when the procedure has not
been carried out automatically.
• Connect the USB serial cable or the TECNOMOTOR
Bluetooth USB module to a USB port of your PC.
• Windows operating system will start an automatic
procedure for installing the driver required to use such
cable.
• Continue by selecting any relevant options, then confirm.
• Enter the path for the driver
C:\tecno\premium\Drivers_usb-ad in the relevant field
and confirm.
• Allow the procedure to run till the end and confirm. The
following driver is hence installed: USB High Speed Serial
Converter.
• The setup procedure will repeat the same operations a
second time and will install the driver: USB Serial Port.
WARNING: The above procedure applies to Windows XP and
previous operating systems. For Windows Vista this procedure is
not necessary since drivers are pre-installed. If they are not,
proceed with normal driver setup procedure as above indicated.
