ABOUT CLEARSHOT TECHNOLOGY
The Truth with ClearShot™ technology provides
instantaneous feedback on your shot clearance. This
advanced laser technology takes the guess out of
archery shots, even allowing hunters the ability to no
longer worry about clipping branches or hitting other
obstructions. And with a simple process, you can
calibrate the rangefinder to correspond with the speed
of the bow through the sight system. When done and a
target is ranged, a dot/line is displayed to show the max
height your arrow will travel.
The Truth with ClearShot™ ranges out to 850 yards with a "shoots like" distance of 200 yards. And it even shows the
angle of your shot in the process. All that, combined with our exclusive Angle Range Compensation (ARC), make this
the ultimate rangefinder for bow hunters.
CALIBRATING CLEARSHOT TO YOUR BOW SIGHT
A paper ClearShot calibration sheet is provided with your rangefinder (additional sheets are available at www.bushnell.
com). If your bow sight has 20 and 40 yard/meter pins, use the "20 PIN/40 PIN" side of the sheet, if it has 20 and
60y/m pins, use the "20 PIN/60 PIN" side. Fasten the calibration sheet to a wall, tree, etc. at a height that is level with
your bow sight when holding your bow normally at a distance of about 10 yards from the sheet.
Next, follow these steps to calibrate the rangefinder for your specific bow:
1. Start with your bow at a distance of approximately 10 yards/meters from the calibration sheet.
2. In shooting position, move forward or backward until your 20 and 40 yard/meter bow sight pins (or 20 and
60 yard/meter pins if using the other side of the sheet) are lined up with the 20 and 40 PIN targets on the
calibration sheet (20 and 60 PIN targets if using the other side of the sheet).
