VC 6 L MC
Ensure that no persons in the vicinity are injured by foreign
particles that are swept up into the air.
Do not air sweep substances that are hazardous to health,
such as beechwood dust or oak dust, stone dust, asbestos.
These substances have been found to be carcinogenic.
Do not air sweep liquids. Any ingress of liquid increases the
risk of electric shock.
Ensure that the workplace is well ventilated.
Wear additional personal protective equipment such as
safety goggles and respirator (or breathing protection).
Wearing suitable protective equipment for the conditions
reduces any exposure to hazardous substances.
Electrical safety
Avoid physical contact with earthed or earth-connected
surfaces such as pipes, radiators, cooking equipment, ov-
ens and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric
shock if a human body is earthed.
Never expose the vacuum cleaner to rain or wet conditions.
Water ingress in the vacuum cleaner increases the risk of
electric shock.

ing driven over, severely bent or kinked, exposed to pulling
loads or similar. Protect the mains cable from heat, oil and
sharp edges.
The mains cable must be inspected at regular intervals for
damage, such as cracks or signs of ageing. In the event of
damage, the cable must be replaced before any further
use.
When replacing couplings of the mains cable or an exten-
sion lead, ensure protection against splashes and mechan-
ical leak-tightness.
Do not clean the device with a water hose or high pressure
jet (danger of short circuit or other damage).
Application
