Parametric EQ
This menu is for easy, on screen adjustment of the parametric EQ on input and output channels. The Acapela
16 provides a 4-band parametric equalizer on each input channel, Multi 1 to 4 outputs and Main Mix. All pa-
rameters are adjusted using the data encoders or touch-screen. Users are able to select a boost or cut of up to
18 dB on frequencies between 20 Hz and 20 KHz. The Q of these signals can also be adjusted to give a wider
or narrower band. On the iPad, this is done by touching the on screen plot then using a second finger to slide
away from or towards the plot. To the right of this menu, you'll find the typical channel controls for the selected
mix (fader, solo, pre/post meter, etc.).
PEQ On: This button turns the currently selected
PEQ on and off.
Reset: This button will reset every band of the cur-
rently selected parametric EQ.
Band On/Off: There are 4 bands total on the PEQ.
These can be turned on and off using the numbered
buttons just below the PEQ graph.
Plots: The plots on the PEQ graph can be moved on
screen by simply touching them and moving them to
the desired position.
Settings: At the bottom of the screen, users can view
the current settings for the currently selected PEQ,
including gain, frequency and Q. These can all be
adjusted up and down as necessary.
