- Note 1 - It will be necessary to remove the control board of the drive to install the metal
spacer that comes with the kit.
- Note 2 - Only one of the closing metal parts will be used (size 1, size 2, or sizes 3 to 10).
Follow steps below for the installation of the communication kit:
Step 1 Check if all listed items are included on the kit package
Step 2 In case another expansion board (EBA/EBB boards) is already installed on the
drive, remove it temporally to install the communication board
Step 3 Install the metal spacer that comes with the kit on the CC9 control board
Step 4 Install the plastic spacer as well
Step 5 Carefully insert the communication board connector into the XC140 female
connector on the CC9 control board. Make sure to perfect align connector pins
Step 6 Carefully press the board down (near XC140 connector and at the bottom corner)
until the connector is firmly seated into the plastic spacer
Step 7 Fasten the control board to the metal spacer by using the screw provided with the kit
Step 8 Fieldbus Connector
Sizes 1 and 2 (models up to 28A):
Replace the product metal plate with the new plate that comes with the kit
Install the RJ45 Ethernet connector on the new metal plate
Interconnect the Fieldbus connector (on the communication board) and the RJ45
connector (installed on the drive metal plate) by using the 150mm cable.
