FUNCTIONAL
DESCRIPTION
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the tool is
switched off and the battery cartridge is removed
before adjusting or checking function on the tool.
Installing or removing battery
cartridge
CAUTION:
Always switch off the tool before
installing or removing of the battery cartridge.
CAUTION:
Hold the tool and the battery car-
tridge firmly when installing or removing battery
cartridge. F ailure to h ol d t h e tool an d t h e batter y
cartridge firmly may cause them to slip off your hands
an d result in d amage to t h e tool an d batter y c artri d ge
and a personal injury.

T o install t h e batter y c artri d ge, align t h e tongue on t h e
batter y c artri d ge w it h t h e groo v e in t h e h ousing an d slip
it into pla c e. I nsert it all t h e w a y until it lo c ks in pla c e
w it h a little c li c k. I f y ou c an see t h e re d in d i c ator on t h e
upper si d e o f t h e button, it is not lo c ke d c ompletel y .
CAUTION:
Always install the battery cartridge
fully until the red indicator cannot be seen. I f not,
it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to
y ou or someone aroun d y ou.

Overload protection

stops w it h out an y in d i c ation. I n t h is situation, turn t h e
tool o f f an d stop t h e appli c ation t h at c ause d t h e tool to
be c ome o v erloa d e d . T h en turn t h e tool on to restart.
Overheat protection

Adjusting belts
T h e tig h tness o f t h e s h oul d er belts, upper an d lo w er
belts can be adjusted. Put your arms through the shoul-
der belts first then fasten the lower and upper belts.
T o tig h ten, pull t h e en d o f t h e strap as illustrate d . T o
loosen, pull up t h e en d o f t h e f astener.
