VALVES SEAL CONTROL DEVICE "VPS 504 (if present)
Its purpose is to check the gas shut-off valve seals. This
check is performed as soon as the boiler's thermostat
enables the burner's working by creating, through the
pump and its inner membrane, an over pressure in
the test circuit of 0 mbar greater than the upstream
pressure.
To carry out the check, insert a manometer at the PA
pressure socket.
If the testing has a successful result, the LC assent lamp
will light up (yellow). To start up again the equipment
must be released by pressing the button with lamp LB.
The fuse can be accessed by removing the top by the
electrical sockets with a screwdriver; there is a spare
fuse in the top part of the seal check under the plug.
note: the seal check can be installed on trains that do
not have one, by requesting the kit for the purpose.
