Station Pre-Set Memories
To set any one of the 6 pre-set memories (13-
18) in each band, use the following procedure:
1.
Turn the radio on and select a band.
2.
Select the first station to be pre-set using
the TUNE/TRACK/SKIP buttons (6).
3.
Press and hold the pre-set button (13-18)
to be set for approximately 2 seconds. The
pre-set number appears on the display
panel. The station is now stored and can
be recalled at any time by pressing that
button.
4.
Repeat the above procedure for the
remaining 5 pre-sets. Six stations can be
stored for each band.

Auxiliary Input (AUX)
The UMP8015 has a 3.5 mm Auxiliary Input
(19) on the front panel for connecting external
audio sources such as a portable cassette
player (books on tape), portable MP3 player or
other audio devices. Press the MODE button
(7) to access the Auxiliary Input source.
Display Selector (DSP)

This unit can display either the clock time or
radio frequency/CD player functions. Ordinarily,
the radio frequency or CD player track
indication is displayed, but the unit will display
the time when the DSP button (20) is pressed.
The time will display for approximately 5
seconds then return to the radio or CD player
function display.
Setting the Clock
To set the clock, perform the following steps:
1.
Turn the vehicle ignition and radio on.
2.
Press the DSP button (20) to display the
clock.

3.
Press and hold the DSP button (20) until
the time flashes.
4.
Press the Down Tuning (
adjust the hours and the AM/PM indication
or the Up Tuning (
minutes.
The adjusted time will remain on the LCD
display for 5 seconds, or until the DSP button is
pressed again.
