3 Maintenance and Care
The R&S
require user maintenance. Care of the power supply is limited to keeping it clean and
mechanically protecting the components. The 12-contact socket supports a limited
number of mating cycles. If signs of wear are detected, we recommend contacting
Rohde & Schwarz Service to exchange the socket.
No user modifications are permitted on the power supply. It is advisable to have the
power supply's output voltage verified on an annual basis.
Dry-type cleaning is preferred; wet cleaning is necessary only in case of heavier
soiling. Use a neutral, mild household cleaning agent. Avoid getting any moisture
inside the power supply. Chemical cleaning agents must not be used.
