Only an authorized Rohde & Schwarz service center is allowed to perform service
work.

4.1 Fuctional Description

The power supply is supplied via a light-duty connector that is integrated into the line
filter (F1 in Fig. 3). The line fuses are also found in this line filter. The desired line
voltage range is selected by rotating the fuse holder (see Putting into Operation). The
supply voltage is stepped down via a transformer (T1 in Fig. 3), rectified on the
regulator card (A1 in Fig. 3) and reduced to +10 V and –10 V. The regulated voltage is
made available via the Tuchel socket on the front panel (W1 in Fig. 3). In addition, a
green status indicator is located on the front panel to indicate the power supply's
operating status (on/off). It is connected via a fiber-optic cable to an LED located on
the regulator board. Fig. 4 shows the arrangement of the individual modules.
