- Check that the supply hoses are neither damaged, nor bent, nor worn. Do not install any load below them, or place them near sources of heat or hit them. To ensure proper operation of the equipment or avoid any
breakage, the hoses must be as straight as possible, without twists, bends or sharp angles. Also ensure that the connection is made properly. Never disconnect a hose without depressurizing the system first.
- Use only original parts.
- Never modify a pit jack.

- If the pit jack is not used, fold the lifting arm completely to prevent any corrosion. If applicable, apply an anti-corrosion product to the piston.
- Store the pit jack in a dry and clean location, away from children.
- When the pit jack is not being used, drain the oil and hand the latter to an approved agent, then dispose the pit jack as per local regulations.
