CLEANING THE CHIMNEY
When the wood is burnt slowly, it produces tars and other organic vapours that combined with the humidity they create the creosote (soot).
An excessive accumulation of soot may cause problems in the smoke outlet and even the smoke duct may suffer a fire. A chimney sweep
should perform this task and, at the same time, examine the smoke duct. During the cleaning tasks, it is necessary to remove the ash pan,
the grille and the smoke baffle plate in order to makes easier the fall of the soot.
It is recommended to use antisoot envelopes during the operation of the stove at least once a week. These envelopes are place directly on
the fire and you can buy them in the same Bronpi distributor where you bought your stove.
CLEANING THE GLASS
IMPORTANT:
Clean the glass only when it is cold in order to avoid that it explodes. You can use specific products such as vitroceramic-
cleaning products. Do not use aggressive or abrasive products that stain the glass.
You can find Bronpi vitroceramic-cleaning product in the same Bronpi distributor where you bought your stove.
BREAKAGE OF GLASSES: the glasses, as they are vitroceramic, resist until 750ºC and they are not subject to thermal
shocks. The breakage can only be caused by mechanical shocks (crashes or violent closing of the door, etc). Therefore, its
replacement is not included in the warranty.

EXTERNAL CLEANING

Do not clean the external surface of the stove with water or abrasive products because they may damage the stove. Use a
feather duster or a rag a bit wet.
CLEANING THE REGISTERS
To keep the validity of the guarantee it is mandatory to do the register cleaning by a technician
authorised by Bronpi Calefacción, who will write down the statement made.
It involves cleaning the ashes register of your stove such as smoke zones.
First of all you must clean the whole inside of the combustion chamber, it is not
necessary to remove the vermiculite plates inside, and brush the surfaces with a
wire brush to clean the dirtiness.
When the combustion chamber is clean, we have to clean the smoke register placed on the
bottom of the stove. It is necessary to open the door of the stove and, later, follow the next
steps:
-
Remove the ash pan.
-
Remove the frontal register cover placed upper
than the ash pan, unscrewing the different screws.
-
Remove the register cover placed back of the ash
pan, unscrewing the different screws.
-
Clean the ashes deposited on the register, decaling
the soot deposited.
-
Replace all the pieces and check the staunchness
of the register.

MAINTENANCE REVIEW

It is also advisable to check and clean, at least once a
year, the existing ashes registers in the bottom and the top part of the stove.
Your stove has a preventive maintenance notice established at 1200 hours of operation, which will remember you the need of cleaning the
registers of your stove. These operations should be done exclusively by an authorised technician.
This message is not an alarm, but a reminder or warning. Therefore, it will allow you to use satisfactorily the stove while this message is shown
in the display.
