When the knob is turned to the light
position, a spark igniter sends a series of
electrical sparks that will ignite the gas
flowing to the burner automatically,

When any surface burner is on, the
surface unit indicator light will be on.
If you are simmering on one burner and
turn on the others, watch the simmer
setting, Because of the increased gas
flow to the other burners the flame size
of the burner used for simmering may
need to be increased,
