◎ Failure Symptoms
When detecting a failure symptom, check the printer by the following table.
Symptom
Power is not switch on
The personal computer does not
recognize the printer
The printer does not ready
The front cover does not open
A straight stripe area is not
printed
Dotted areas are not printed
◎ Paper jam solution
For safety consideration, please switch off the power firstly and follow the below instructions
to remove jammed paper.

Please check if the power cable is firmly

connected
Check if the USB cable is connected to the
personal computer or printer
Check if the front cover is properly closed

Check if paper is jammed in the printer
●
When the paper setting lamp goes off, please
●
rotating the paper flanges manually to stretch
proper length of paper through the gap of the
rear paper rack until the sensor lights.
Check if the printer is installed in a flat surface
●
Please check if there is hindrance for opening
●
the front door
The Thermal Printing Head may be dirty.
●
Please contact HiTi dealers for cleaning the
thermal head.
The roller may be dirty. Clean the roller as
●
described in Chapter 6. "Routine Maintenance"
