Pre-Fit the Wall Surrounds
NOTE: For receptors without wall surrounds, proceed to the "Install the Finished
Walls" section.
Ensure the receptor surface is free of debris. This will minimize the gaps between
the wall surrounds and the receptor surface.
Align the end of one wall with the end of the receptor.
Temporarily install a roofing nail or equivalent over the top of the wall flange and
into the center of a stud (1). Do not drive the nail in so far that it interferes with
the remaining wall.
Position the remaining wall, then ensure the pins are engaged in the wall slots (2).
Verify that the wall is flush against the receptor. If adjustment is needed, remove
the roofing nail from the wall and reposition it. Reinstall the roofing nail.
Verify that the walls are flush against the edge of the receptor. If adjustment is
needed, push or pull the walls to reposition them.
Verify that the walls are properly aligned with the studs at the top and vertical
wall flanges. If needed, add shims to bring the studs into contact with the walls.
Prémunir les murs avoisinants
REMARQUE: Pour des receveurs sans murs avoisinants, procéder à la section "Installer les
murs finis".
S'assurer que la surface du receveur est libre de tout débris. Ceci limitera les
espaces entre les murs avoisinants et la surface du receveur.
Aligner l'extrémité d'un mur avec celle du receveur.
