Tap the trimmer head on the ground. If the line does
not advance, turn off the trimmer, then pull lines while
alternately pressing down on and releasing the spool
cover.
Remove the line from the spool and rewind. Refer to
the Line Replacement section in this manual.
Advance the line at full throttle.
Cut tall grass from the top down to prevent wrapping.
Operate the trimmer at full throttle.
