Powering up

Before plugging the power supply into the wall, verify that the ON/OFF switch located on upper
part of the stem is in the OFF position. Connect the power supply to the wall socket and then to
the scale.
Once the connection is made, flip the switch to the ON position.
Attention:
To avoid failure, never disconnect the power supply from the scale while the Power Status LED
is ON or FLASHING.
Switch the scale off from the ON/OFF switch and wait for the LED to turn off before
disconnecting the power supply from the scale.
