BLUETOOTH MODE
Compatible with the following
devices
Your BT 1000 DAB+ can be connected to any
commercially available Bluetooth-compatible de-
vices that comply with the A2DP standard. This
includes smartphones, laptops and tablet PCs,
for example.
Selecting the Bluetooth input
source

Select the Bluetooth input source by pressing
»MODE« on the device or »AUX/BT« on the
remote control.
– Display: » BT « and » « flash.
Finding and connecting a
Bluetooth auxiliary device

Activate the Bluetooth function on the
Bluetooth auxiliary device.

Start the search function on the Bluetooth aux-
iliary device.
– After a short time, your BT 1000 DAB+ will
be displayed on the Bluetooth auxiliary de-
vice.

Select the BT 1000 DAB+ on the Bluetooth
auxiliary device and connect to it.

When the Bluetooth auxiliary device is con-
nected to your device, the » « lights up and
the name of the Bluetooth auxiliary device is
displayed briefly.
Note:
Your BT 1000 DAB+ can only receive and

play the audio signal from one Bluetooth de-
vice; however, up to 8 Bluetooth auxiliary
devices can be logged on.
Playback from the Bluetooth
auxiliary device

Start playback on the Bluetooth auxiliary de-
vice.

Note that the data transmission range can

be as much as 9 m, depending on the Blue-
tooth device that is used and the structure of
the building.
Deactivating the Bluetooth aux-
iliary device

Deactivate the registered Bluetooth auxiliary
device on the auxiliary device.
– The » « logo flashes.
Reactivating the Bluetooth auxil-
iary device

If you move out of data transmission range or
switch off Bluetooth mode, the Bluetooth de-
vice is logged out.
Notes:
You only have to log Bluetooth auxiliary de-

vices on once.
When the Bluetooth auxiliary device moves

back into signal range of the BT 1000
DAB+, the auxiliary device logs on auto-
matically.
The BT 1000 DAB+ connects first to the last

Bluetooth auxiliary device that was logged
on.
If the Bluetooth auxiliary device is not recog-
7
nised, it has to be activated again via its own
menu.
If it is not possible to connect to a Bluetooth
7
auxiliary device that was registered previ-
ously, remove your BT 1000 DAB+ from the
Bluetooth auxiliary device's device list and
repeat the search and connection proce-
dure.
