When installing and using this electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should

WARNING - Risk of Electric Shock. Connect only to a grounding-type receptacle
protected by a ground-fault circulation-interrupter (GFCI). Contact a qualified
electrician if you cannot verify that the receptacle is protected by a GFCI.

Do not bury cord. Locate cord to minimize abuse from lawn mowers, hedge trimmers,
and other equipment.

unit to electric supply; provide a properly located outlet.

Caution:
Natural rock or water features in contact with salt water can cause a white stain
(salt crystalisation).
Please do not use any salt with additives such as iodine. Please ensure that if
you have a ladder, it is of high-grade stainless steel.
2. How the system works
•
This innovative and inexpensive system produces your required chlorine from
ordinary salt.
•
Through the process of electrolysis, the chlorinator separates the elements of salt,
chlorine and sodium, in the pool water.
•
The chlorine is immediately absorbed, thereby destroying bacteria, algae and
sanitising the pool.
3. Installation of the Salt Chlorinator cell
•
The complete installation must be approved by a certified electrician before it is
connected to the mains.
