6.4 Boiling out with the hand spray

The Labormat SD avails of double lids.
The item to be cleaned (e. g. articula-
tor) can be placed on the perforated
plate covering for brief boiling out
using the hand spray (30). The spray
water is redirected into the water
tank via discharge holes in the inside
lid. When using the hand spray (30),
the change-over lever (52) in the con-
trol panel must be rotated right to
set it at the „hand spray" position.
Remove the hand spray (30) from the
holder, set the timer (18) to the desig-

6.5 Polymerising

Labormat devices are also suitable for
polymerising hot-polymerising resines
using the metal flask technology.
Do this by opening the lid of the
device (3), removing the flask baskets
and support plates (55) and submerging
the flasks directly in the preheated
water tank.
Caution: risk of burning – only
touch using the designated handles.
It must be ensured that flasks are not
placed on the heating coil and measur-

nated cleaning time or press the hold
button (15) while pressing the pressure
switch on the hand spray.
Return to normal spray mode by rotat-
ing the change-over lever (52) to the
left to set it at the „spray" position.
Important: The timers on the
Labormat device should not be
turned anticlockwise mechani-
cally. This over-stresses the inter-
nal parts and can expose the clocks

ing sensors in the front section of the
water tank. This can cause functional
defects or damage.
Various temperature levels can be real-
ised via the thermostat controller (24)
to ensure homogeneous resin poly-
merisation.
During the polymerisation process, the
Labormat can also be used as a boil-
out unit; replace the support plates
and flask baskets in the device and
proceed as outlined in the section on
„Boiling out".
