OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

This Brillia hood is equipped with six electronic controls with a 3-minute delay shut-off, a
powerful centrifugal squirrel cage with baffle filters, and two bright 12-volt 20-watt halogen lights.
The six electronic controls are Light Control, Speed Controls and Timer (On/Off). Refer to
Figure 12.
Note: For best results, turn hood to QuietMode™ prior to preparation or cooking to
establish airflow in the kitchen. Adjust speed as needed.
1 = QuietMode™
2 = Low Speed
3 = Medium Speed
4 = High Speed
Turning Fan ON:
Press the Power Control (ON/OFF) button once. Note: The light setting will not be

affected by the Power Control (ON/OFF) button.
Press a Speed Control button to activate the desired speed.

To change the fan speed, press the button for the desired speed.

Turning Fan OFF:
The Delay function will only turn off the fan. The light settings will not be affected by delay
function.
Press Power Control (ON/OFF) button once, the Speed Indicator will flash and the fan

will shut off after 3 minutes.
Press Power Control (ON/OFF) button twice, the fan will shut off immediately.

Light Control:
Press the Light Control button to turn halogen lights on and off.
