Pallet Stabilizing Applications

The system can be set up so that a simple, external
switch closure will interrupt the current output to the
guns, even if there has been a trigger input. A
palletizer or other customer-supplied switching device
typically supplies the necessary switch closure.
When using the system for pallet stabilizing, configure
the system input cables as follows.
1. Plug the RJ-45 splitter (P/N 340 280) into the blue
color-coded port.
2. Plug the trigger (P/N 340 274 or 340 277) into
either port of the RJ-45 splitter.
3. Plug the extension cable (P/N 340 271) into the
RJ-45 splitter.
4. Connect the other end of the extension cable to
your switching device or control system by:
a. plugging the extension cable directly into the
RJ-45 port on a compatible switching device.
NOTE: Fabricated extension cables must
provide the switch closure across the two right
hand pins on either port of the RJ-45 splitter
(as viewed with the splitter plugged into the
control unit).
b. cutting off the remaining RJ-45 connector and
wiring the orange-white wires directly to the
switching device.
5. Plug the system power cable into the right side of
the control unit, and then connect the power plug
to a 90–264 VAC power source.
