Operation
1.
Install the VDL150RGML in the desired location. Either hang it by the
mounting bracket or place it on the included stand (screw the stand in
the bottom of the device).
2.
Plug the dc plug from the included mains adaptor in the 5Vdc input.

Make sure the device is switched off ([7] + safety key, see picture on
first page) and plug the mains adaptor into a suitable mains outlet.
4.
Turn the safety key and switch the device on by setting the function
switch [7] to the middle position for normal operation, or completely to
the left for strobe effect.

Use the mode select button [4] to choose between automatic mode or
sound controlled mode.
6.
To change the speed of the moving lights in auto mode, turn the motor
controller [3].
7.
When the strobe effect is selected, change the strobe speed with the
strobe speed controller [6].
8.
Switch off the device with the function switch [7] and the safety key.
•
Note: it is strongly recommended to switch off the device after 2 hours
of continuous operation to let the laser cool down.
7.
Maintenance
• All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
• The housing, visible parts, mounting supports and the installation location
(e.g. ceiling, suspension, trussing) should not be deformed, modified or
tampered with e.g. do not drill extra holes in mounting supports, do not
change the location of the connections.
• Moving mechanic parts must not show any signs of wear and tear.
• The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a
qualified technician maintain the device.
• Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
• Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or
solvents.
