The PFA Post can only be used with The Miller TechLine™
and Miller SkyWalker™ temporary horizontal lifeline kits.
(see table below)
Refer to section 6.0 for the installation of PFA Post Bases.
In choosing a location for the anchor post bases, please
refer to the diagram for maximum edge working distance.
The maximum distance to any fall hazard is now a 4' radius
or 8' diameter from the anchor post base or lifeline.
Install the bases at the correct distance apart for the appli-
cation, limited by the maximum span as listed in the table
below.
Follow the PFA Post set-up instructions in section 5.0 of this
manual.
Choose either Position 1 or Position 2 to adjust the height
of the lifeline, depending on the HLL kit (see tables below).
Install HLL using the required contents of each
compatible kit. Follow all manufactures instructions
carefully when installing*.
WARNING
Do not exceed the required anchor post height set-
tings. At higher pin positions, the forces exceed the
allowable maximum for the fall arrest post.
