To reduce the risk of electrocution:

Do not place or store the product where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
2
Do not place the product in or drop it into water or any other liquid.
3
Do not reach for a product that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
4
Do not use the product while bathing.
Warnings
To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire to persons:

Discontinue use if this product appears damaged in any way (brush head, handle, charger and/
or sanitizer). This product contains no user-serviceable parts. Refer to chapter 'Guarantee and
service' if your Sonicare no longer works properly or needs repair.

Never use the charger and/or sanitizer if it has a damaged cord or plug.
3
Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
4
Do not use the charger and/or sanitizer outdoors.
5
Do not use the charger and/or sanitizer if dropped into water.

This product is designed to clean your teeth, gums and tongue only. Use this product only for
its intended use as described in this booklet. Discontinue use of this product and contact a
physician/dentist if discomfort or pain is experienced.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Do not use attachments other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
10 If your toothpaste includes peroxide, baking soda or other bicarbonate (common in whitening
toothpastes), thoroughly clean your brush head and handle with soap and water after each
use. Otherwise plastic cracking may occur.
11 To avoid damage to the product, do not place the brush head, handle, charger or charger
covers or sanitizer in the dishwasher for cleaning.
12 Discontinue use of the sanitizer if the UV light bulb remains on when the door is open. UV
light can be harmful to the human eye and skin. Keep the sanitizer out of the reach of children
at all times.
13 Do not operate the UV sanitizer without the protective screen in place to avoid contact
with hot bulb.
14 The UV light bulb is hot during and immediately after the sanitizing cycle. Do not touch the
UV light bulb when it is hot.
15 Do not operate the UV sanitizer where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where
oxygen is being administered.
16 If the sanitizer is used for 3 consecutive UV clean cycles (i.e., 3 times in a row) a minimum of
30 minutes 'Off Time' is required before you start another UV clean cycle.

Consult your dental professional before you use this product if you have had oral or gum
surgery in the previous 2 months.

Contact your dental professional if excessive bleeding occurs after using this product or
bleeding continues to occur after 1 week of use.

If you have a pacemaker or other implanted device contact your physician or the device
manufacturer prior to use.

Sonicare has been tested and is compliant with safety standards for electromagnetic devices.

Consult your physician prior to using the Sonicare if you have medical concerns.
