Viewing Closed Captions (On-Screen Text Messages) -Analog
The Analog Caption function operates in either analog TV channel mode or when a signal is supplied from an external device to
TV. (Depending on the broadcasting signal, the Analog Caption function may operate on digital channels.)

Press the MENU button to display the menu.
Press the A or T button to select "Setup"_ then press the ENTER _
button.

Press the A or _' button to select "Caption', then press the ENTER _
button.

Press the ENTER _ button to select "Caption".
Press the A or _' button to select "On"_ then press the ENTER _
button.

Press the A or _r button to select "Caption Mode'_ then press the ENTER
button.
Press the A or V' button to select submenu (DefaulL CC1~CC4 or Textl~Text4)

button.
Press the EXIT button to exit.
- The default is "CCl".
- CCI: The Primary Synchronous Caption Service. These are captions in the
3nmary language that must be tr sync wire the sound preferably
"na[cnea_o a soecific frame.
• CC2: The Special Non-Synchronous Use Caotions.
This channel carries data that ts ntended to augment informa[ion carnea
tn the program.
• CC3: Secondary Synchronous Caption Service
Alternate program-reta[ea cap[ton aata. typically second language
caD[ions.
• CC4: Special Non-S_,ncnronousUse Captions. Similar to CC2
• Te×tf: First Text Service. This may be vanous non-program related data
• Te×t2: Second Text Service. Additional data. usually not program retatea.
- Text3/Text4: Third and Fourth Text Services.
