Install wheels as follows:
1. Slide axle pin (3) through the wheel (1), 1/
2 in. flat washer (5), wheel bracket on
frame, and 1/2 in. flat washer (5).
2. Insert cotter pin (9) through axle pin (3).
Bend tabs (of cotter pins) outward to lock
into place.
Install frame foot and rubber bumpers as fol-
lows:
1. Slide M8 x 50 bolts (6) through rubber foot
(4) and holes in frame rail.
2. Install locking flange nuts (8).
Install handle(s) as follows:
1. Slide M8 x 80 bolt (7) through handle
bracket and handle (2). Install hex nut (8).
NOTE: Repeat handle assembly for model
DF7500E.

Battery Cable Connection
The unit has been shipped with the battery
cables disconnected.
The following tools are required to connect the
battery cables.
• 8mm box wrenches (2) (DF3500)
• 10mm box wrenches (2) (DF7500)

1. Cut off cable ties securing battery cables
and remove red cover from battery termi-
nal.
2. First, connect the red cable to the positive
(+) battery terminal with the bolt and nut
supplied.
3. Make sure connections are secure and
slide rubber boot over the positive (+) bat-
tery terminal and connection hardware.
4. Connect the black cable to the negative (-)
battery terminal with the bolt and nut sup-
plied.
5. Make sure all connections are secure and
slide rubber boot over the negative (-) bat-
tery terminal and connection hardware.

NOTE: If the battery is unable to start the
engine, charge with 12V battery charger.
Add Engine Oil
Engine damage. Verify proper type and quantity of
engine oil prior to starting engine. Failure to do so
could result in engine damage.
1. Place generator on a level surface.
2. Verify oil fill area is clean.
3. Remove oil fill cap and wipe dipstick clean.

4. Add recommended engine oil as shown in
the following chart.
NOTE: Use petroleum based oil (supplied) for
engine break-in before using synthetic oil.
