FUNCTION 7 - Safety input during closing (terminals 1 & 7)
This function permits to set safety operating mode during closing (e.g. a pneumatically-operated rib, a photocell-rib, a wire-
rib, etc.).
Set value to:
0 =
to disable safety during closing (this avoids having to make a jumper between terminals 1 and 7)
1 =
TO STOP upon tripping of the safety device during closing. In this case the gate stops. Upon safety device resetting,
give another Radio or "OPEN" command (terminals 1-5 "OPEN") to reset the automatic access' movement.
2 =
TO STOP and upon photocell resetting, after 1.5 secs. and the pre-opening flashing time, OPEN.
FUNCTION 8
Safety photocell input during opening and closing (terminals 1 & 8)
This function permits to set the photocell operating mode as required.
Set value to:
0 =
to disable safety during closing (this avoids having to make a jumper between terminals 1 and 8)
1 =
TO STOP upon activation of the safety photocell both during opening and closing phase. In this case the gate stops,
and closes after the dwell time set via FUNCTION 10)
2 =
TO STOP during closing phase and upon photocell operation resetting, OPEN
3 =
TO STOP during closing phase and CLOSE after 3 secs. from photocell resetting
4 =
TO STOP during closing phase and after 1.5 secs. and the pre-opening flashing time, OPEN
Note:
A further function is also available to stop the automatic gate before any manoeuvre is carried out in case of any
of the safeties having been activated (NC contact open). If the safeties remain active, the warning light remains
powered for 4 minutes at the most.
Note:
The dwell time is counted by the unit from the moment it receives the STOP command, caused by the tripping of the
photocell.
FUNCTION 9
Maximum opening/closing time
This function permits to set max opening and closing times, the same for both manoeuvres. It cannot be cut out as its main
purpose is to protect the motor in case of safeties malfunctioning.
The time can be set at between 1 and 99 secs.
FUNCTION 10 Automatic closing
This function permits to set the dwell time before automatic closing and is used in conjunction with functions 1-3-4-5-6-7-8 &
20.
Set value to:
0 =
to cut out automatic closing (in this case the automatic access stays stopped after the opening phase, awaiting
another radio or manual command).
between 1 and 99 =
Note:
This time should always be longer than the pre-closing flashing time (Function 14)
FUNCTION 11 Closing limit switch (terminals 0 & 11)
This function permits to manage the closing limit switch.
Set value to:
0 = closing limit switch not enabled (this avoids having to make a jumper between terminals 0 and 11)
1 =
closing limit switch enabled. Upon the limit switch being activated during closing (NC contact open), the gate stops. At
this point the unit accepts opening commands only.
FUNCTION 12 Opening limit switch (terminals 0 & 12)
This function permits to enable or disable the opening limit switch.
Set value to:
0 = to disable opening limit switch (this avoids having to make a jumper between terminals 0 and 12)
1 = opening limit switch enabled. Upon the limit switch being activated during opening (NC contact open), the gate stops. .
At this point the unit accepts closing commands only.
