FITTING AND WEARING YOUR REFLUX BAND
Reflux Band Fitting Kit
The Reflux Band Fitting Kit is used to set the pressure. It is comprised of two pieces; the External Manometer and
Pressure Sensor.
•
External Manometer: The External Manometer measures pressure being applied. The unit of measure is
millimeters of mercury (mmHg).
•
Display: The Display shows how much pressure the Reflux Band is applying to the criciod area, and thus the
UES. The recommended pressure setting is 20-30 mmHg.
•
Power Button: The Power Button turns on the External Manometer. It automatically turns off after two
minutes.
•
Pressure Sensor: The Pressure Sensor twists onto the External Manometer. The blue pad sits between the
cricoid area and the Reflux Band Cushion to measure the pressure applied.
