Automatic user recognition
The scales are equipped with automatic user recognition.
As soon as you step onto the scales, they turn on automatically and within a few
seconds show you the ascertained weight. The body analysis will start shortly after.
If the weight difference between two stored persons is less than 2 kg, automatic user
recognition does not work. In this case, "1-2" (for example) will be shown on the display:
This indicator means that the scales cannot match the person on the scales
unambiguously to one of the stored users. The scale displays the two users in question
(in this example, "1" and "2").
In such a case, select the correct memory cell using the arrow buttons.
After selection of the user, the scales automatically resume the weighing and analysing
process.
Changing the battery
A battery change is necessary when "Lo" or nothing at all is shown on the display.
When changing the battery, bear the following in mind:
The data that has been ascertained and entered up to that point remains stored
on the scales.
Only use the type of battery that is specified in the "Technical Data".
Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-) when inserting the battery.
The plus pole (+) must point upwards.
Dispose of the old battery in an environmentally responsible way (see "Disposal").
Cleaning
NOTE on material damage
− Do not immerse the scales in water or other liquids.
− Do not under any circumstances use harsh, scraping, or abrasive
cleaning agents or the like to clean the scales. If you do, the surface
could be scratched.
1. Wipe down the scales as needed using a lightly dampened, soft cloth.
2. Disinfect the weighing surface and the sensors from time to time using a suitable
disinfecting agent (available at specialist retailers and pharmacies).
