Paper jams

If a paper jam occurs, the paper path must be cleared following this
procedure:
1. Remove all documents from the input tray.
2. Press the EJECT key (on the Control Panel) to push the jammed
document towards the paper output path.
3. If the document remains jammed and
does not move, remove the Automatic
Document Feeder
pushing gently upwards on both the side
tabs simultaneously.
WARNING: During removal operations be very careful not to damage
the ADF module.
4. If the document is jammed in the
internal feeding mechanism, lift the
top cover.
5. Clear the path of any jammed
documents and make sure that the
rollers are free of paper and other
debris.
6. Lower the top cover to the correct
position and press downwards.
