PROGRAMMING WORK and PAUSE TIMES
During programming the control unit has a self-learning capability with regard to work and pause times.
The S/S command will be activated several times during programming (item 1 of Fig. 1), alternatively the
PP command can be used (terminal 8 if Fig. 2 or the remote control (if stored).
There are two types of installation and different modes:
1) Installation with limit switches.
During programming the limit switch activates to determine the limit of gate movement. Follow type 1 for
programming.
2) System without limit switches.
During programming the anti-crush card activates (if inserted) to determine the limit of gate movement.
Follow type 1 for programming.
- Should there be no limit switches and the anti-crush card is not inserted, the times should be set
through the P/P control. Follow type 2 for programming.
Important notes before programming:
A.Power the control unit and check correct operation of the control inputs through the relative LEDs (the
N.C. contact LEDs should be on).
B.Free the area of gate movement.
Programming: Type 1
AUTOMATION WITH LIMIT SWITCHES
1) Cut off the power supply to the control unit.
2) Move the gate or door halfway along its travel.
3) Press the STOP/PROG button.
4,5,6) Power the control unit by holding down the STOP/PROG button (item 2 of Fig.1) for at least 3 seconds. The pro-
gramming LED L1 turns on. (The same function is also possible by pressing the STOP/PROG button, short-circuiting
the reset pins for an instant, and holding down the STOP/PROG button until the L1 LED turns on).
7) Press the S/S button (item 1 of Fig.1). The motor starts a closing manoeuvre. If the motor is turning in the opposite
direction, cut power off, reverse the motor and limit switch phases and repeat the procedure.
8,9) When end of travel is reached, the motor stops and starts automatically in opening.
10) When completely open the motor stops.
11) The control unit starts counting pause time.
12) When the pause time wanted has finished, press the S/S button and the motor starts closing the gate.
13) When end of closing travel is reached, the motor stops.
14) At the end of programming the L1 LED turns off.
