CONNECTING THROUGH INFRASTRUCTURE COMMUNICATION
–CHECK BEFORE YOU CONNECT
Check 1
A "Wireless LAN access point" needs to be set up in advance to
connect through infrastructure communication. Prepare the QBiC instruction
manual of the "Wireless LAN access point" such as a router beside you and
follow the below steps.

The explanation in this guide is based on the assumption that the
devices which have wireless LAN access points, such as a router, support "DHCP
server function".
For the procedure of connecting to the devices which do not support "DHCP
server function", refer to the QBiC instruction manual.
CONNECTING THROUGH INFRASTRUCTURE COMMUNICATION
–CONFIGURATION OF THE PRODUCT
The following description shows how to configure the product. Prepare a computer with
the QBiC Setup Tool installed and the supplied USB cable.
Check [SSID] and [KEY(encryption key)] of the wireless LAN access point in advance.
1.
Open the micro USB Port Cover of the product.
2.
Connect the micro USB plug (smaller one) of the supplied USB cable to the micro
USB port of the product. Connect the USB plug of the USB cable to a USB port on
your computer.
3.
Power on the product.
4.
Boot the "QBiC Setup Tool" installed on your computer.
5.
Click [Network] icon in the tool.
6.
Click [Infrastructure] tab.
7.
Put a tick mark to [Connect through Infrastructure Communication at
start-up].
8.
Click [AP Search Setting].
9.
A list of wireless LAN access point near your computer appears.
10. Double click the wireless LAN access point to use.
