Ports

The SonoSite X-Porte Desktop includes three USB ports on the right side of the ultrasound engine, an ECG
port and Kensington security slot on the left side of the engine, and video-in and Ethernet ports on the back
of the engine.

Using the mouse

In the SonoSite X-Porte Desktop, you can access all controls by clicking with the mouse. You can access the
Freeze, Unfreeze, and Select controls by pressing either the left or right mouse buttons (see below).
Note The mouse cursor does not appear in the image area on the clinical display.
To configure the mouse for right- or left-handed operation
1 Click MORE, and then click System Settings.
2 Click Presets in the list on the left.
3 Click User Profile.
