1. The Maxi-Cosi Citi SPS must undergo regular
maintenance. Do not use lubricants or aggressive
cleaning agents.
2. The cover, cushions and belt pads of the
Maxi-Cosi Citi SPS can be removed in order
for these to be cleaned. The flexible plastic edge
can be cleaned with water, soap and a soft
cloth.
3. If the cover needs to be replaced at any time,
only use official Maxi-Cosi fabrics.
The Maxi-Cosi Citi SPS and your baby
1. Never leave your baby unattended.
2. Always secure your baby with the harness belt.
3. Before every use, make sure the harness is not
damaged or twisted.

between the harness and your baby (1cm).
5. Only use the headrest of the Maxi-Cosi Citi SPS
when the shoulder belts are in the lowest
position.

elevated surface (such as a table or chair).
Maxi-Cosi Citi SPS car use
1. Always check to make sure the car seat can be
installed properly in your car before purchasing
it.
2. Make sure any fold-down rear seat is locked into
position.
3. Prevent the Maxi-Cosi Citi SPS from becoming
trapped or weighed down by luggage, seats
and/or slamming doors.
4. Make sure that all luggage and other loose
objects are secure.
5. The safest place for your baby is the rear of your
vehicle, however if you need to install the seat in
the front passenger seat, please ensure that the
front airbag is deactivated.
6. Only use a forward-facing seat that is fitted with
a 3-point safety belt that complies with the ECE
R16 standard (at a minimum).
7. Make sure the car safety belt buckle runs in a
straight line and stays below the belt hook of the
Maxi-Cosi Citi SPS. See the p.8 example.

all blue markings. For proper installation
instructions, see pages 8-9 and/or the sticker
